Originally from Walled Lake, Michigan I headed to Chicago in 2011 for the start of my education. As of May 14, 2016 I graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology earning a Bachelors of Architecture degree and specialization in Digital Design from the College of Architecture.

 

In the Fall 2015, I participated in the Bedrock Real Estate Services 2015 Urban Housing Academic Competition. Students competed for first place in the competition which looked for sustainable, innovative, and inclusive urban housing to the Brush Park Neighborhood of Detroit, MI.

 

In the Summer of 2015 I was employed for iDesign Solutions, where work continued through the Fall 2015 School Semster as well. As a Contracted Employee I attended client meetings, worked on project developments and put together title blocks. iDesign Solutions is a consulting firm specializing in programming, planning and design of medical, teaching, research and developmental laboratories. Through this employment, I was also able to start my NCARB IDP hours in a goal to start working towards my License. 

 

In the Summer of 2014 I worked for PracticeSpace in Detroit, MI. PracticeSpace focuses on hands-on collaborative place-based projects around the neighborhood of Detroit to help better the area. A small team of four worked under Teresa Sanderfer as she planned out her Consignment/Resale Shop located on W. A Women's Volleyball Team member for four years at IIT, where I achieved Team MVP, All-Tournament Team, and CCAC 2nd All Conference Team in the 2012 Season. In my final season I achieved MVP for the team as well as an Honorable Mention USCAA All-American Team title in the 2014 Season, as well as being Captain of the 2014 Spring and Fall Seasons.
